Rice community welcomed into BRC

About 600 Rice students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members discovered where leading research is becoming infinite possibilities at the BioScience Research Collaborative (BRC) open house last week. The festivities included tours of the 477,000-square-foot, 10-story building and its cutting-edge labs and an introduction to the research being conducted there. Visitors also saw the BRC’s 280-seat auditorium and its state-of-the-art classrooms and enjoyed light refreshments on its outdoor patio.
