Walter Chapman, the William W. Akers Professor in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and director of the Energy & Environmental Systems Institute, has been selected to receive the Donald L. Katz Award from the Gas Processors Association. The award recognizes outstanding accomplishments in gas processing research and technology and excellence in engineering education.

Professor of Sociology Stephen Klineberg spoke at a Houston 2010 Census Business Leaders Summit Jan. 28 at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
