Rice University Cycling and Triathlon closes out the season
Owls succeed in harsh conditions

Lubbock, Texas, played host to the 2010 USA Triathlon Collegiate National Championship, where the Rice University Cycling and Triathlon (RUCT) team battled through the severe weather conditions: 55 degree weather, 53 degree water, steep hills, harsh winds, rain and mud. Rice Owl Justin Lopez placed in the top third of the 800 competitors.

RUCT also competed in the South Central Collegiate Cycling Conference Championships, where they secured the conference title for Division II schools.
