Glasscock School hosts student-enrichment program

 
GLASSCOCK SCHOOL OF CONTINUING STUDIES 
Seventy-nine high school sophomores and juniors attended “C3: Content
— College — Career” at Rice this week to learn about global issues as
they relate to environmental sustainability and cultural understanding.
The program also included activities to assist students in navigating
the college admission and application process and exploring a variety
of career options in the sciences and social sciences. Sessions were
presented by master teachers, guest speakers and Rice staff and
students, including Davin Wallace (pictured above), lecturer of Earth
science at Rice.

Students represented the following schools and districts: Carnegie
Vanguard High School, Corpus Christi College Prep High School, Strake
Jesuit College Preparatory and La Porte and Pasadena independent school
