Rice Day 2010: The countdown begins Oct. 12

This year, Rice Day, Oct. 12, is doubly special. Not only is it the 98th anniversary of the university’s formal dedication and the perfect day to wear your Rice colors and Rice-branded apparel, it also begins the countdown to Rice’s Centennial Celebration in 2012. Among the events planned for the day are President David Leebron’s semi-annual town hall meeting at 10 a.m. in Alice Pratt Brown Hall’s Stude Concert Hall and a picnic for Rice students in Founders Court from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
