United Way Campaign less than 5 percent away from goal

Rice employees could help the university’s 2010-11 United Way Campaign reach its goal by Thanksgiving.

In its ninth week, the campaign has achieved more than 95 percent of its $130,000 goal, with $124,444 now raised. The campaign officially ends Jan. 18.

To make a pledge via automatic payroll deductions throughout 2011, or to contribute with cash, check or credit card in the 2010 tax year, visit www.rice.edu/unitedway.

In the spirit of the season of giving, the Rice United Way Campaign team thanks the staff and faculty who have already taken steps to make life better for thousands of their neighbors in the Houston area.
