Latin American beats in Duncan Quad Saturday

Duncan College Quad will be alive with the beats and sounds of Latin
America at 5 p.m. Dec. 4 when the University Orchestra of Latin American
Instruments from the Bolivarian University of Venezuela presents a free
concert to celebrate cultural diversity.

The orchestra is currently on its first U.S. tour.

The
concert is presented by CITGO Petroleum Corp. and supported by Duncan
College, the Americas Research Center, the Hispanic Association for
Cultural Enrichment at Rice and the Black Student Association.
