Web Services is the most recent recipient of the Brandy Award, the
Office of Public Affairs’ recognition of excellence using the university
brand standards to help Rice develop a stronger presence with all of
its constituents.
From search functions, to iPhone apps, to
numerous Web sites, Web Services continues to bring Rice closer to a
consistent presence and unified voice to the external world. Over the
past few years, Web Services has worked to lead hundreds of Web sites
into the Rice brand and make the Web presence of Rice departments,
groups and individuals look their best.
Public Affairs presented the Brandy Award to Web Services at the Feb. 24 communicators’ forum.
Previous
recipients of the Brandy Award have been Social Sciences, Parking and
Transportation, the Barbara and David Gibbs Recreation and Wellness
Center, Rice University Police Department, the Shepherd School of Music, the George R. Brown School of Engineering and Facilities,
Engineering and Planning.
