| Students, faculty, staff and alumni wearing Rice University T-shirts tie-dyed in rainbow colors adorned Rice’s float in Houston’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride Parade June 25. The backdrop of the float featured Rice’s upcoming centennial; the other side displayed a photo of Rice alumna/Houston Mayor Annise Parker ’78 under the heading “Today’s students, tomorrow’s leaders.” The University Relations team in Rice’s Office of Public Affairs sponsored this community outreach. |
