People, papers and presentations
Wade Adams,
director of the Richard E. Smalley Institute
for Nanoscale Science and Technology, delivered a talk on the future of
nanotechnology at TedXHouston 2011 in June. Adams described the potential for
nanotechnology to help solve the world’s energy and environmental problems and
contribute to advances in medicine, water treatment, agriculture, education and
