Rally time

Enthusiasm was abundant in Rice Stadium Tuesday evening as new freshmen put their game faces on and received their official introduction to Rice athletics. The Class of 2015 enjoyed a picnic with Owls of every sport, where they were encouraged to show their support during all Rice sporting events.

Football head coach David Bailiff added to the enthusiasm by previewing the Owls’ season opener against the University of Texas Longhorns. The game is set for 6 p.m. Sept. 3 at Darrell K.
