Campus organizations celebrate student diversity

Rice University’s Black Student Association, Hispanic Association for Cultural Enrichment at Rice and the Office of International Students and Scholars welcomed freshmen with receptions on campus last weekend. The events featured remarks by President David Leebron and other campus leaders and allowed students to network with other new members of the Rice community. Public Affairs’ Multicultural Community Relations team helped coordinate the activities. The Class of 2015 has the distinction of being the most diverse class in Rice history.
