The school offers a variety of intriguing noncredit courses in arts, humanities and sciences, foreign languages and personal and professional development. Benefits-eligible faculty and staff are also eligible for tuition reimbursement for job-related courses at Continuing Studies. The policy allows for reimbursement for 75 percent of the cost of the program, up to $1,000 per fiscal year. Rice alumni receive a discount on nonlimited enrollment courses in arts, humanities and sciences, personal finance and some lifestyle courses. Personal development courses are offered twice yearly, beginning in mid-February and mid-September. The Glasscock School also offers professional development and language courses throughout the year, and the Master of Liberal Studies program accepts new students in fall, winter and spring.
