Members of Rice University’s Finance Club won the 16th annual Rolanette and Berdon Lawrence Finance Case Competition held at Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business April 20. The students — Rice full-time MBA students Teresa Mattamouros, Ryan Stohl, Gabriel Villasmil and Brian Walker — received the grand prize of $7,000.
Three graduating seniors who managed Rice University’s Wright Fund — Erin Holmes, Jimmy Moffett and Brian Walker — took home first place in the Portfolio Manager’s Competition at the Texas Investment Portfolio Symposium Conference, which was held this spring at the University of Texas at Dallas.
