Houston Mayor Annise Parker ’78 posed with the Centenni-Owl art car near Lovett Hall while she was on campus for a Centennial Commission meeting Thursday.
Centenni-Owl, an art car designed and built by Rice undergraduates and their instructors as part of a spring semester Art Car 100 class, took home a third-place trophy in the 25th annual Houston Art Car Parade May 12.
