Charley Landgraf ’75 hosted a reception for more than 20 Rice students who are in Washington, D.C., for summer internships. Also in attendance were Vicki Colvin, vice provost for research, the Kenneth S. Pitzer-Schlumberger Professor of Chemistry and professor of chemical and bimolecular engineering; Dan Mittleman, professor of electrical and computer engineering; and Cory Kennedy, director of government relations in the Office of Public Affairs. They were joined by other alumni in Washington in welcoming the Rice students to the nation’s capital. This is the first in a series of events that will be held in D.C. for Rice students thought the summer.
