Fox Business broadcasts from Rice University

On Sept. 20, Fox Business Network television’s Melissa Francis broadcast promotional “cut-ins” and interviews live all day on Rice’s Academic Quad in front of Fondren Library. Francis then broadcast her own show, “Money with Melissa Francis,” from 4 to 5 p.m. Using Lovett Hall as a backdrop, Francis interviewed Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, BHP Billiton Petroleum Chief Executive Mike Yeager, Kinder Morgan CEO Rich Kinder, and executives from Zeus Mortgage and Baker-Katz. The show culminated with Francis interviewing Rice President David Leebron.
