Jones School MBA candidate Emma Fauss was awarded a $10,000 scholarship by the Texas Business Hall of Fame Foundation.
A team of Rice engineering students who designed the “IV DRIP: Dehydration Relief in Pediatrics” device earned a $5,000 grant from the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance and the chance to attend a three-day workshop in January. The students designed the simple device, which prevents the over-hydration of infants, as their freshman engineering project last year. It is intended for use in the developing world.
