Friends of Fondren Library to host reception honoring Rice authors, editors, composers and artists

The Friends of Fondren Library will honor Rice authors, editors, composers and artists who published, presented or performed in 2012 with a reception April 2 at 5:30 p.m. in Farnsworth Pavilion.

Rice faculty, staff and alumni are among the 53 honorees who will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and their work. Friends of Fondren Library board member Bob Casey ’86 will moderate the event, which will feature a panel and a reception with hors d’oeuvres and wine following the presentations.

The panelists are Joe Campana, assistant professor of English literature; John Sparagana, professor of visual arts; Stephen Fox, lecturer in architecture; and alumna Stephanie Evans ’09.
