Rice University to announce new institute May 16

HOUSTON – (May 15, 2013) – More than 20 representatives of different religions in the Houston area will join Rice University officials onstage May 16 to celebrate the establishment of a new institute to study and advance religious tolerance and understanding. The Rice administration will thank the donors whose multimillion-dollar gift made the institute possible.

What:             Event celebrating the launch of a new institute at Rice University.

When:             Thursday, May 16, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Where:           Rice University, Baker Hall, Doré Commons, 6100 Main St.
