Nutritional counseling now available at Rice

Rice University faculty and staff members looking for advice on nutritional health and eating habits can now access nutritional counseling through the Gibbs Recreation and Wellness Center. Members of the Gibbs Center get a discount on the counseling fee.

NANCY OPPERMANN

Nancy Oppermann, a registered dietitian with an M.S. in nutrition from the University of Central Oklahoma and a B.S. in nutrition and food science from Stephen F. Austin State University, will offer specialized nutritional counseling focusing on wellness and prevention, sports nutrition, vegetarian diets, food allergies, pregnancy and lactation, diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol and high blood pressure.
