Rice Coalition on Hunger and Homelessness reaches out

Forty middle school students from Yes Prep Northbrook came to Rice University Feb. 26 as part of a special service project with the Rice Coalition on Hunger and Homelessness (RCoHH). Students participated in a workshop on social entrepreneurship and poverty led by RCoHH volunteers, took a tour of campus and ended their visit with their own Sandwiches-for-All event — making more than 500 sack lunches for the homeless in less than two hours.
