The Rice United Way Campaign enters final week

The 10th and final week of the Rice United Way Campaign’s “short and sweet” 2014-15 fundraising effort is here. Active campaigning officially ends this week, and the campaign results will be announced at a concluding celebration — the Power of One Picnic — to which all campaign donors are invited. The picnic will be from noon to 1 p.m. Dec. 9 in the Central Quad. (In case of bad weather, the picnic will be held in Rice Memorial Center’s Grand Hall). Pledge forms will be available at the picnic for those who wish to contribute on that day.

While active solicitations will end this week, because there are many Rice colleagues who traditionally make their charitable contribution decisions during the winter break, pledges will still be accepted through the end of the first day of classes and the MLK Day weekend. To make a payroll pledge that divides your gift over all your 2015 paychecks, visit esther.rice.edu or pledge by cash, check, credit card or payroll deductions using the pledge form found online at http://rice.edu/unitedway.
