Water’s curvy surface forms tiniest wires
Rice University researchers create sub-10-nanometer wires from a variety of materials by using water as a mask in a simple etching process. The process is promising for microelectronics manufacturers who seek to shrink the circuits in their devices. James Tour, the T.T. and W.F.
