Rice University’s chapter of Camp Kesem, an organization dedicated to helping children through and beyond their parent’s cancer, held its second summer camp Aug. 2-7 at Camp Gilmont in Gilmer, Texas. Sixty-seven campers participated this year alongside Rice student counselors and administrative staff. During the week of activities, campers and parents had the opportunity to share their personal experiences and the impact that Camp Kesem has had on their lives.
