Led by Darik Dillard and Luke Turner — both scoring two touchdowns — the Rice Owls opened their season victoriously by downing the Wagner Seahawks 56-16 Sept. 6 at Rice Stadium.
The Owls will continue their quest for conference domination at 7 p.m. Sept. 12 when they face the University of Texas Longhorns at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin. The game will be broadcast on the Longhorn Network and Yahoo! Sports Radio 1560-AM.
