Workshop focuses on strongly correlated electron materials

More than 70 participants and 20 invited speakers attended a workshop at Rice Nov. 20-21 to discuss the latest methods for measuring the electronic properties of quantum materials. The workshop, which included a poster session, was hosted by the Rice Center for Quantum Materials. The event drew leading theoreticians and experimentalists for discussions of the latest methods for investigating the spin-dependent magnetic properties of quantum materials. (Photo by Jeff Fitlow)
