‘Of the Soil’ captivates at the BRC

“Of the Soil,” an exhibition by Geoff Winningham, photographer and the Lynette S. Autrey Chair in the Humanities at Rice, is now on display through April at Rice Public Art’s pop-up gallery in the BioScience Research Collaborative (BRC). The exhibition features a series of photographs from his most recent project and book, “Of the Soil: Photographs of Vernacular Architecture and Stories of Changing Times in Arkansas,” which captures folk architectures of the region and the stories that accompany them.
