CERCL and BLMHTX host ‘Citizens Without Citizenship’ panel

The Center for Engaged Leadership and Collaborative Learning (CERCL), in partnership with Black Lives Matter Houston (BLMHTX), presented an art exhibition and panel discussion titled “Citizens Without Citizenship” on the Rice campus April 7. Rice panelists included Jenifer Bratter, associate professor of sociology; Nicole Waligora-Davis, associate professor of English; Anthony Pinn, director of CERCL and the Agnes Cullen Arnold Professor of Humanities; Lovie Olivia, an interdisciplinary artist; and Blaque Robinson and Chavonte Wright, undergraduate students and co-founders of the Activism Initiative, MOVE.
