 Future of Obamacare is topic at Rice’s Baker Institute June 3

HOUSTON – (May 24, 2016) – Health economist Vivian Ho will discuss the current status of the United States’ health care system under President Barack Obama’s health care law and consider what modifications might be expected under a new Democratic or Republican administration at Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy June 3.

Who: Vivian Ho, chair in health economics and director of the Baker Institute Center for Health and Biosciences; professor of economics at Rice; and professor of medicine at Baylor College of Medicine.       

Santiago Caraballo, senior vice president at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, will give welcoming remarks.

What: A presentation titled “How Might Obamacare Change in 2017?”

When: Friday, June 3. Lunch will be served at noon; Ho’s presentation will begin at 12:15 p.m.
