Rice University hosted Latin American representatives from EducationUSA, a U.S. Department of State network of over 400 international student-advising centers in more than 170 countries, Aug. 18. The network promotes U.S. higher education to students around the world by offering information about opportunities to study at accredited postsecondary institutions in the United States, including Rice. The representatives learned more about Rice as as a potential destination for their top students. The visit was a collaborative effort by the Office of the President, the Office of International Students and Scholars, Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, the Office of Admissions, the Glasscock School of Continuing Studies, the Oshman Engineering Design Kitchen, Public Affairs, Brasil@Rice and the Latin American Graduate Student Association.
