Forty female students from Houston-area schools came to campus to get up close and personal with well-known and brilliant business, financial, health and science-minded professionals during the fifth annual Young Women’s Leadership Challenge July 10-15. The event was hosted by Rice’s School of Social Sciences in partnership with the Pangea Network, an international nonprofit dedicated to empowering motivated individuals in Kenya and the United States with the knowledge, skills and an ongoing network of support to achieve their dreams and make positive, life-changing contributions in the communities where they live.
