Esther Fernández, assistant professor of Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American studies, presented “La figura femenina como simbolo de Resistencia en montajes contemporáneos de dramas auriseculares” during the XVIII Congreso de la AITENSO held at the Universidad Iberoamericana Ciudad de Mexico Oct. 24 and the panel paper “Unma(s)king the Queen: Elizabeth I in the Early Modern Spanish Stage” at the 16th-Century Society and Conference meeting in Milwaukee Oct. 27.
