No Rice News during winter recess, other campus schedules change

Rice University will go into hibernation for winter break Dec. 23 through Jan. 1. Several schedule changes will occur during the recess:

The last issue of Rice News for 2017 will be Dec. 18; the first issue of 2018 will be published Jan. 8.

Fondren Library will be closed Dec. 23-Jan. 1. Operating hours through December vary. Visit http://library.rice.edu/hours/hours-rice-id-holders#holiday or call 713-348-4800 for the schedule. Regular hours will resume Jan. 2.

The Gibbs Recreation Center will be closed Dec. 24-Jan. 1. The Rec Center will operate on recess hours through Dec. 23 and Jan. 2-7. For more information on recreation facilities and schedules, visit http://recreation.rice.edu.

The Faculty Club will be closed Dec. 18-Jan. 3 and will reopen at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 4. For more information, visit http://club.rice.edu.
