After an almost two-week break due to exams, the Rice men’s basketball team returned to the hardwood Thursday, Dec. 13, when it hosted St. Edward’s in the team’s annual Kid’s Day Game. With Tudor Fieldhouse packed with area schoolchildren, Chris Mullins scored a career-high 24 points, including the game-winning free throws with less than a minute to play, as the Owls defeated the Hilltoppers 78-73.
