Over 500 people from Rice and greater Houston attended the annual Korean Culture Night Jan. 19 in the Rice Memorial Center Grand Hall. Co-hosted by the Korean Student Association and Korean International Student Association, the cultural event boasted traditional and modern performances including Korean traditional musical instruments, K-pop dancing, games and the ever-popular hidden masked singer contest. The event was underwritten by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Houston and SK Innovation, which donated $50,000 for the development of Korean programs at Rice. (Photos by L Diop)
