Holocaust Museum Houston, in partnership with Rice’s Boniuk Institute for Religious Tolerance and other local organizations, is hosting “Coexistence,” a unique and thought-provoking free outdoor art exhibition in Hermann Park along Fannin Street, through May 30.
First presented by the museum in 2006, the new and expanded “Coexistence” features 44 panels of large-scale works, measuring 9 feet high and 15 feet wide, created by renowned artists from the United States, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Panels feature quotes in English, French, German and Spanish from philosophers and leading thinkers, representing concepts and issues that affect human relations as people work to coexist in a global society, according to exhibition organizers.
