Spanish-language Telemundo’s Houston station, KTMD-TV, taped a special panel discussion on the Hurricane Harvey Registry and how the region has improved its readiness for severe weather events. The taping, which took place at Hudspeth Auditorium inside the Glasscock School of Continuing Studies’ Anderson-Clarke Center and will air this summer, featured a presentation about the registry and a preliminary report on its findings by Joally Canales, community outreach coordinator for Rice’s Children’s Environmental Health Initiative.
