Rep. Brady to discuss new trade agreement at Rice’s Baker Institute

HOUSTON – (Aug. 26, 2019) – U.S. Rep. Kevin Brady, R-Texas, will visit Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy Sept. 5 to discuss the future of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, challenges to ratifying the agreement in Congress and the future of trade in the region.

Brady will evaluate these important topics in a moderated conversation with David Gantz, the Will Clayton Fellow in Trade and International Economics at the Baker Institute, and then answer questions from the audience.

The cost of attendance is $15 for the public, and registration is at www.bakerinstitute.org/events/2026. The event is hosted by the Baker Institute’s Center for the United States and Mexico.
