The leading candidates in the Houston mayoral race gathered at Rice University Oct. 3 for a forum hosted by Houston Millennials, Rice Multicultural Community Relations, Baker Institute Roundtable Young Professionals, Millennial Project X, NAHREP (National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals) Houston, Harris County Young Democrats, Houston Young Republicans, Houston Area Urban League Young Professionals and Move Texas. Dwight Boykins, Tony Buzbee, Bill King, Sue Lovell and Mayor Sylvester Turner participated in the event.
