H.E.A.R.T. of Houston
…………………………………………………………………
The South Main
Center Association, of which Rice University is a member,
has created a shorthand term H.E.A.R.T of Houston
to raise awareness of the numerous resources in Health,
Education, Art, Recreation and Technology that are available
in this part of the city.
Through its teaching,
research and numerous campus activities, Rice contributes
to all aspects of H.E.A.R.T. In addition, the faculty, students
and staff benefit from close proximity to the Museum District,
Hermann Park, the Houston Zoo, Miller Outdoor Theatre, Reliant
Park, the Texas Medical Center and many other attractions
and events.
Beginning with
this issue, Rice News will feature a quarterly calendar
of activities in the H.E.A.R.T. of Houston as a service
to the Rice community.
