Classroom
Technology Services to showcase innovative teaching

…………………………………………………………………

Over the past
two years, staff at Rice’s Classroom Technology Services
(CTS) have worked with many faculty across the Rice campus
and have learned about the innovative ways in which faculty
approach their teaching and the various projects and ideas
they have developed.

In an effort
to help faculty share their ideas and foster an environment
of joint discovery, Classroom Technology Services and Educational
Technology have created the Rice Ideas in Teaching and Education
Showcase. The showcase is designed to provide a forum for
sharing information and ideas about projects developed by
Rice faculty. The goal is to allow faculty to share not
only the end results of their work, but also information
about their goals, what it took to develop the project,
thoughts they have about its success or failure and the
lessons learned along the way.

Visit the Ideas
Showcase Web site at <http://cts.rice.edu/ideas>
to learn more about this project and for information about
how to submit a teaching project.
