Vice President Mike Pence to deliver remarks about Venezuela at Rice April 5

HOUSTON – (March 28, 2019) – Vice President Mike Pence will deliver remarks about Venezuela at Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy at approximately 12:30 p.m. Central time Friday, April 5.

The event will include welcoming remarks from James A. Baker, III, former secretary of state and honorary chair of the Baker Institute, who will also introduce Pence. Baker, Rice President David Leebron and Baker Institute Director Ambassador Edward Djerejian will meet with the vice president before the event.

Who: Vice President Mike Pence.

What: Remarks to the community about Venezuela. The event will be by invitation only.

When: Approximately 12:30-1:30 p.m. Central time Friday, April 5.

Where: Rice University, Baker Hall, 6100 Main St.
