Recreation center closings announced
The Recreation Center pool closed earlier this week for unscheduled maintenance.
The “Discover SCUBA” class will be rescheduled, and participants will be kept informed by e-mail. Participants in the “Learn to Swim” class will be contacted about refunds for session four.
In addition, the Recreation Center will be closed for regularly scheduled maintenance Aug. 4-19. Patrons are asked to remove all personal items and locks from their baskets prior to this date. Any items left on Aug. 4 will be discarded unless special arrangements have been made in advance.
To reclaim your basket, go to the center when it reopens on Aug. 20 to the Operations Desk and bring your Rice I.D. All baskets unclaimed by Sept. 20 will be given to other customers.
