An oasis for relaxation and recreation

| The “John and Anne” Grove — the walkway leading up to Sid Richardson College from Loop Road — underwent a transformation this summer and is now sporting new landscaping, including several new cedar elms and live oaks; decomposed granite pathways; additional lighting; and improved drainage. Residents of the south colleges, which border the grove, will help select benches for the area, making this an oasis for relaxation and recreation.
A million-dollar gift from John Mullen ’63 and Anne d’Olier Mullen ’64 through the Goldman Sachs Philanthropy Fund financed the beautification of this area where the Mullens met and fell in love as undergraduates. |
