Rice catches some ZZs
You won’t find raindrops on roses or whiskers on kittens among ZZ Top’s favorite things about Houston, but Rice University is on their list. For the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau’s “visitmyhouston.com” campaign, guitarist Billy Gibbons and the other members of the Southern rock band mention what they like best about “H-town” in a video on YouTube. The ZZ Top trio cite “the food, the people, the medical center, Rice University plus the great art museums” among the attractions that make Houston a “wonderful town” and a “very international city.” |
