Rice launches Facebook page

Rice recently launched an official page on the popular social network Web site Facebook. The page provides another opportunity for Rice fans to show support for the school. More than 10,000 Facebook members identify themselves as part of the Rice network, which includes students, alumni, faculty and staff. The official page allows those in the Rice network to show their interest in Rice.

Facebook members can visit http://www.facebook.com/pages/Rice-University-Official-Page/28331765549 to add the page. Those without Facebook pages can create one for free at http://www.facebook.com.
