Available there are an interactive map showing the locations and descriptions of the projects, project news and updates, Web camera views and construction photos and videos. Users can also find construction alerts there and can subscribe to an RSS feed to receive the latest notices of such interruptions as road closures and utility outages.

“The new site is a great tool for sharing information about our many ongoing projects,” said Susann Glenn, manager of communications for Facilities, Engineering and Planning. “With the interactive map, detailed project descriptions, photos and more, visitors can learn more about the exciting construction projects at Rice 24/7.”

Among the projects featured on the Web site are the Autry Court renovation, the Collaborative Research Center, the Barbara and David Gibbs Recreation and Wellness Center, Duncan and McMurtry colleges and the Oshman Engineering Design Kitchen.

The Construction Information Center (CIC) at the corner of Alumni Drive and College Way is another resource for news on construction projects.

Visitors can find the up-to-date information on construction projects as well as artists’ renderings and scale models of major construction projects on campus.

The CIC is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
