| Members of the Rice community gave the gift of life during a blood drive this week in Farnsworth Pavilion. Rice University participates with the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center as a “Commit For Life” partner. Rice sponsors four blood drives annually to help meet the needs of more than 220 health care institutions in the 24-county Texas Gulf Coast region. The next campus blood drive will be Nov. 16.
