Annual ice cream social set for July 30

Rice faculty and staff are invited to join in a summer tradition and satisfy their sweet tooths at the annual ice cream social July 30 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Sponsored by the Employee Activities Committee and the Staff Advisory Committee, the social will be held in the McMurtry College Commons, West Servery. President David Leebron will be joined by vice presidents and deans in serving up scoops at the event designed to give faculty and staff an opportunity to relax and socialize with one another before the start of the academic year.
